Homework

A homework folder will come home on Monday. In it you will find a math paper and a blank handwriting paper. Please have your child do the math sheet and choose a writing activity to do. Also record the number of minutes your child spent reading throughout the week. Please send the folder back to school with your child on Friday. It is important to enstill the importance of completing homework on time. This will be important as your child continues with his/her education.

10:15 - 11:05 Centers/Guided Reading
11:05 - 11:45 Special Area
11:45 - 12:15 Storytime
12:15 - 12:55 Lunch
12:55 - 2:00 Math
2:00 - 2:30 Science/Social Studies
2:30 - 2:40 Journal
2:40 - Get ready to go home
2:50 Dismissal

Monday - Computer
Tuesday -Physical Education and Art (for the first 11 weeks)
Wednesday - Music
Thursday - Physical Education
Friday - Library and Music
Once a month we also have computer skills, counseling and storytime

Discipline Procedures
Most discipline problems are handled in our classroom. If a problem is persistant or severe our time out room will be used. As a building we will be implementing the STARS Code.
