Curriculum

Parents are often surprised at the academic expectations for today's kindergarten students. Some parents fondly remember their own kindergarten experience as a relatively unstructured play time in which social skills were emphasized. Today's students are exposed to challenging academic work, but always with an emphasis on keeping tasks developmentally appropriate and enjoyable for young students. The kindergarten curriculum presented at Badger Clark comes from the South Dakota State Standards.
