Snack
TimeThe Kindergarten children in Room 27 will have an afternoon
snack break tentatively scheduled at 1:30 daily. Children may participate
in the Kindergarten Milk Program. Our Snack/Milk Program is a separate
program from our other Food Service programs. Children who wish to participate
in this program must pay 25 cents daily for milk. This program does not
offer free or reduced financial help. The snack milk money can be
included in your lunch money account that is handled by the Food Service
Office.
Parents will be asked to help contribute snacks to the classroom. I will let you know in the monthly news letter when snacks are needed. Items like crackers, cookies, cereal are great items that have a longer shelf life. You may also send one perishable treat like bananas, apples, carrot sticks, oranges, grapes, ice cream, or cheese. When planning your snack selections plan for 21 students. That will give us one extra treat which will allow for accidents or new students. If you are unsure when choosing a snack item, just drop me a note and I'll visit with you about your questions. I appreciate your help in making this year fun and successful.
