~Mrs. Haerer~
I have lived in South Dakota all my life but for two years, when I
lived in Germany. I attended Douglas School District k-5th grade
and again 8th-12th grade. After graduating from Black Hills State
University in 2004 with my elementary teaching degree, I taught
literacy in
Rapid City at an elementary school for one year. The following year
I was
given the chance to teach 1st grade at Douglas, so I jumped at the
opportunity. I am now in my second year of teaching 1st grade at
Douglas and it is both~-- rewarding and exciting. I'm grateful to give
back to the school district
that gave so much to me.
My family means the world to me. I am newly married to a man Dar. Dar is in the construction business and he and I are building our first home!
We have two dogs named Pepper and Molly. Pepper is a black lab and she
is 2 years old. Molly is a golden retriever and she is 8 weeks old. I
have a younger sister and an
older brother and sister, who are all around this area, in addition to
my parents and two nieces. In my spare time I enjoy
anything outdoors, such as camping and boating. I also like watching
movies and eating! I spend most of my time enjoying my family and
friends.
