Our Schedule:

Our schedule is listed below so that you can see what your child's day looks like.  We generally stick to our routine but as you know, with children, the schedule needs to be flexible to allow for events, activities and learning experiences that arise despite our best plans.
When asking your child about his or her day it may be helpful to use the schedule as a launching pad for specific questions such as "What story did you read in Reading today?", "What did you have for lunch?", "Did you have Art, Gym, Computer, Library or Music today?", "What are you learning about in Science?". These types of questions will often direct a students attention to particular details rather then you asking a general " What did you do in school today?".  Another way of getting more details about your child's day is to ask them their "High and Low" for the day.  This information can help you zone in on your child's interests and difficulties on a day to day basis.

As students arrive they go to the playground until the bell rings.  If they are eating breakfast through the school food program they should go directly to the cafeteria. During inclement weather we have "red flag" days where they come directly to the classroom.  A red flag hanging in front of the building is their symbol to come in to the school directly.
