Star of the Week
Each week we will have a special student featured on bulletin
boards in our classroom. On Monday the star student will bring in
10-15 photographs of themselves and their families for display on this
board. These photos should reflect your child’s interests
at different ages of your child's life. The snapshots may include
pictures of pets, places they have been, family members, or friends they
have. Parents will need to discuss these pictures with the child
so that they will feel comfortable sharing them with the group on
Friday. A survey will also be sent home during the week so that
we may know more about your child’s favorites.
During their special week the star will also be
responsible for bringing in the snacks for that week. A list will
come home with them to tell them what to bring each day.
If you would
be available to read to our class one of your child’s favorite
stories during their special week, let me know and we will arrange the
time.
