The following 8th grade project will consist of a report that will be one of the following topics:
Your Choice!!
1. Your favorite TEAM
2. Your favorite ATHLETE
3. Your favorite SPORT
Your project may be one of these 3 topics. I do not want rules & regulations as part of the report. The following is a outline of what is expected in the report:
1. The report will be 4 pages or more
in length.
a. 1st page - Cover page: Name, Class Period, Title, and Date.
b. 2nd and 3rd page - Introduction, body, and conclusion of paper. Double Spaced and 1" margins, with #10 or 12 font size.
c. 4th page - Bibliography - 2 resources, you may want to check with the librarian for the proper bibliography format.
2. The report must be typed or placed
on the computer.
(Hand written reports will not be accepted).
3. It is the responsibility of the student to make arrangements with the appropriate teacher for use of a typewriter or computer.
4. The report must be turned in by March 8th. Failure to turn report in by the deadline will result in a test grade of zero. Being absent, leaving for vacation, or bad weather is not an excuse for not having the report turned in. Part of your grade is getting the report in on time.There are no excuses because of the early notification of this assignment.
5. If a student transfers out of the school district after February 2nd the report is still required before departure. Failure to do so will result in a test grade of zero.
6. This report has specific guidelines to be followed as mentioned above. Failure to follow the specific guidelines will result in the report to be graded down. Don't wait until last minute, start on it today.
