We received notice that the water from EAFB has once again tested positive for bacteria. We have taken all precautions to protect the students and faculty including shutting off the water fountains and stocking bottled water. This morning, the school district did go into a “secure the building mode” in response to a report that an unidentified male subject was on one of the elementary playgrounds. This year marks the thirteenth anniversary of 9/11. Douglas School District will honor this day and those who lost their lives, the families of the victims, as well as, the survivors with the annual Freedom Walk. The date for this year’s Freedom Walk will be Thursday, September 11.
