STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1.  Seniors: Are you interested in singing at the Senior Breakfast or Graduation? Auditions will be Thursday, April 24 at 3:15 in the Music Room. Signup will be on the door. Requirements: you have to be a senior, and you have to have your own accompaniment or recording. A CD player will be provided for you. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Kelly or Mrs. Berdan. Thank you and good luck!

2. Congratulations to the 2014 Prom Royalty: Queen Tori Stepp and King Kelgynn Serbas, and court members Kierra Bella, Brittani Clark, Alexis Cochran, Katherine Mendez-Skinner; Jacob Blair, Tyler Faircloth, Kyle Slater and Cameron Vetere.

3. Those students that are interested in summer school. Applications are now available in the counseling office.

4. Get your Creative Alphabet Name NOW!  Orders can be taken by Ms. Vicke Vogel in room #54.  The Creative Alphabets were photographed by the High School Commercial Art students and are on display in the front lobby.  $19.95 includes your name (or word) plus the mat.  Fundraiser ends April 30th.
5. Seniors: If you still need a cap and gown or graduation invites, Kim from Herff-Jones will be here on Wednesday, April 23 to distribute final orders. Cost of a cap and gown is now $44.  Stop by the office on that day after 1:30 p.m. to pickup items.

6. Reserved seats are now available for the Drama Department’s production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR. The cost is a $2 per seat donation to the DHS Drama Club. Seats are going fast, so if you would like to reserve a seat, see a DHS Drama Club member or Mr. Plooster right away.  The musical will be presented May 1 at 4 p.m. and May 2 and 3 at 7 p.m.

7. Students: Just a reminder that warm weather is upon us finally, however, remember to keep your clothing school appropriate or you will be asked to change or be sent home.
8. There is NO SCHOOL on TOMORROW, Friday or Monday due to the Easter Holiday! Have a wonderful long weekend!

9. The DHS Booster Club will be hosting the last “spaghetti feed” on April 23rd for activities that are currently in session. Serving begins at 5 p.m. In the cafeteria.See your coach or advisor for details.

10. Girls basketball players: If you are interested in playing in the Monday night Summer basketball league, please pick up information from the main office or activities office. They are due back ASAP at 3:30 pm.Thank you,  Coach Wince
