BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING

April 30, 2007

The Douglas School District No. 51-1 Board of Education held a special meeting on

April 30, 2007 at 4:53 p.m. in the Douglas High School Library, Box Elder, South Dakota, for the purpose of Negotiations.  President Cathy Melendez presided.  Those present were:

                                                Mary Bowman, 2nd Vice President         

                                                Janice Jungemann, Member

                                                Les Schwartz, Member       

                                                Loren Scheer, Superintendent

                                                Trista Hedderman, Business Manager

                                                Vicki Glanzer, Recording Secretary         

                                                DEA Representatives:

                                                Doreen Hastings            Tammy Hanson

                                                Deb Pena                         Georgia Simon

All actions in these Minutes were by unanimous vote unless otherwise stated.

26380.       President Melendez called meeting to order at 4:53 p.m. 

26381.       Jungemann moved and Bowman seconded to approve the Agenda.

Larson moved and Schwartz seconded to go into Executive Session at 4:55 p.m.

                  Discussed negotiations.

President Melendez called the Board out of Executive Session at 5:14 p.m.

26382.       No action taken.   

26383.       The meeting adjourned at 5:15 p.m.
