BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING

February 20, 2008

The Douglas School District No. 51-1 Board of Education held a special meeting on February 20, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. in the administrative offices of the Douglas School District,

Box Elder, South Dakota, for the purpose of executive session for a discussing the Middle School Principal position. President Melendez presided. Those present were:

Cathleen Melendez, President

Larry Larson, Member

Les Schwartz, Member

Loren Scheer, Superintendent

Patricia Peel Harry Brendan

Joan Dunmire Bill Eldridge

Jan Kirk Amy Lewis

All actions in these Minutes were by unanimous vote unless otherwise stated.

26920. President Melendez called meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.

26921. Schwartz moved and Larson seconded to approve the Agenda.

Schwartz moved and Larson seconded to go into Executive Session at 4:05 p.m.

Discussed Middle School Principal Position.

President Melendez called the Board out of Executive Session at 4:53 p.m.

26922. Larson moved and Schwartz seconded to offer Middle School Principal position to Daniel C. Baldwin .

26923. The meeting adjourned at 5:54 p.m.
