As the result of advances in our uses of technology and wanting to use District funds more efficiently, the Douglas School District will discontinue mailing out the Douglas School News newsletter beginning with the August, 2012-13 edition. In the past the Douglas School News newsletter was mailed out four times during the school year. Instead, there will be a link on the district homepage to subscribe to the newsletter. When a new edition is available, it will automatically be sent to you via email. The current newsletter will also be available on the website at www.dsdk12.net. Paper copies will be available at the District Offices and the community library at the high school while we transition to the new delivery method. For those who do not have access to a computer and would like a paper copy mailed to them, please contact our District Administrative Office. We will continue this service for at least one more year.

You will find the subscription form on the right side of our website. After signing up with your e-mail address, you will need to check your e-mail to confirm your subscription. Every e-mail that we send out in the future will have a link to unsubscribe. If you do not wish to subscribe to our newsletter, you can always access it via our website.
We won’t e-mail the actual PDF copy of our newsletter, due to the size of it and to avoid being flagged as “spam,” but will e-mail a link to the copy on our website. The newsletter will look the same as our past newsletters.
