The mission of Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps is to “develop citizens of character dedicated to serving their nation and community.” 

We’ve been a part of Douglas High School since 1971 and there is absolutely no military commitment incurred from joining AFJROTC.  There are, however, many advantages derived from AFJROTC membership should one decide to embark upon a military career.  Graduates of our program have received several ROTC scholarship offers and academy appointments in past years. 

Our cadet corps completed over 11,000 hours of school and community service over the last two years en route to its fourth consecutive distinguished unit award.  The SD-061 Cadet Staff welcomes you to our website.
