CUT

In the fall of 2004 the DHS drama department held a preformance of Cut and The Musical Reveiw. Cut was a comedy and had a cast of about 14. It was a playabout a play about a play, confusing I know. There were many crazy characters including an old man who forgot everything, a director who was having a midlife crisis,and a a technician who interuppted to change the light bulbs. They didn't even know who the real director was, half of them didnt know where they lived, And a they would pick up the telephone before it rung. Cut was my first play I ever worked on in the high school I personally consider it my first real play. In this show many of the characters had to be more than one person they also had to act as actors acting as actors, again it is very confusing. Imagine if you were reading the script for the first time.The show was held for 3 nights and it all went really well.
