Memories are like ripples on a

pond. They float strongly for

a time, then grow weaker

and seemingly drift away.

Although a person may not

be able to see them anymore,

the images and events last

forever. It may seem as

though memories only are a

reminder of the good times

we have had, but they serve

as much more than that. As

people begin to drift apart,

memories will keep the

friends together throughout

the rest of their days. As a

wise man once said, "It is

not events that we

remember, but rather

moments." As we all

progress through our high

school years and on into life

outside the protective walls

of school, we will take with

us the memories that we all

created while enjoying the

times we had together.
