This is the Cross Country Website Hompage. This site will show you everything you need to know about each team member, the coaches, our two major meets of the season, and what our philosophy is as a team.

Cross Country is a sport in which you run anywhere from two and a half to three and a half miles. It is a race. There is a set course, but the course may take you up or downhill, in the woods, or through fields. The teams run in almost any weather conditions. That is why training is pretty intense.

There is a camp during the summer for a week, which is optional, that helps improve eating habits, builds friendships from other teams, and works on your racing habits (such as the length of your running stride, your times, and your overall strength and endurance. Its goal is the same as that at practices... to get you to work hard and race strong.

Since running is so near and dear to my heart, this page will give you a personal insight to what it's like to be part of the family that is the cross country team. It will allow you to walk away with a better knowledge of who makes up the team, and what the team works together to acheive every year.
