Español 2
Español 2 is the second in the series of three Spanish classes
offered at Douglas High School, and successful completion is a minimum
requirement for the majority of out of state universities.
Español 2 offers students who have successfully completed a year
of Spanish study to improve their fluency and cultural knowledge even
more.
Like
all Spanish classes at Douglas High School, the language is taught
using a communicative approach rather than a grammatical one. This
allows our students to read, write and speak much faster and with more
comprehension than with other approaches. As an example, we end the year by reading
Don Quixote by Miguel Cervantes,
and we have fun doing it! Olé!
After sucessful completion of Español 2, students are eligible to enroll in Español 3.
If you are looking for assignments, they are posted in your student's planner as they are given.
Below are some photos from Español 2: Keep checking back for updates!
