All about me!

I grew up on a farm outside Renville, Minnesota. I went to school from kindergarten through 12th grade at Renville Public School. I attended college at Southwest State University in Marshall, Minnesota. I started teaching for the Douglas School system in 1983. Second grade is the grade I have taught during my years at Douglas. After teaching for many years I met and married Ken Larus. We live on a ranch south of Hermosa.

 

I believe that each child is capable of learning. I will strive to provide a safe environment in which students can learn. I will make every effort to meet the needs of each child at his or her ability level. Each child will be taken academically as far as possible while in my room.

I believe together parents and teachers can help a child make academic and social progress. The following pages will provide information for parents to use at home to help your child.
