Writing Ideas

I believe good writing skills are important to a student's academic future. In the classroom we write in our journals, write short stories, and write about stories we have read. We use writing skill every day.

Help your child develop good writing skills. Have your child keep a journal at home. Help your child write and mail letters to friends or family. After reading a story have your child create a story map. Once you have read a story write about the topic of the story.
