Mrs. Schleuning
Welcome! My name is Mrs. Schleuning, Mrs.
S
for short. I have lived in the Rapid City area FOREVER! I
graduated from Steven's High School and married Ernie, a graduate from
the rival Central High School. I earned my Bachelor's of Science in
Elementary and Special Education from Black Hills State University in
1982. I started teaching at Francis Case in the fall of 1982. Twenty years later in 2002, I earned my Masters Degree in
Curriculum and Instruction from St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota. I have
loved teaching and learning from the numerous students I have worked
with during my career with the Douglas School System.
We have two wonderful children that we are very proud of. We have
learned many things about life and family from them! We enjoy our family
time together. Some of our favorite activities include hiking, boating,
4-wheeling, camping and traveling. Tiffany is 21 and attends SDSU in
Brookings, SD. Andrew is 18 and he is heading to Nova Southeastern
University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL for his first year of college.
