What About Me? This is my second year back “home” to Douglas.  I am looking forward to new challenges and new opportunities for our students. I am Granny of four lively grandsons and a beautiful new granddaughter; the mom of a daughter and two sons, and the wife of my college sweetheart. Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked as an R.N. for over 25 years. In 2006 I completed my Master’s Degree in Counseling and Human Resource Development.

Hobbies/Interests: Love to read!! Spending time with my family; working with youth; hiking; running; cooking; making quilts for the grandchildren; playing the piano (just for myself); listening to music; spending quality time with important people in my life; writing random things that are mostly for my eyes only and some pieces that are for others. I love to start my day with a great cup of coffee, and I think popcorn should be an official food group!

Favorite treat: Did I mention that popcorn should be a food group? Best ever smoothie has to be from Bully Blends...it rocks!
