BC Cafeteria Procedures

Hallway
  • Always use walking feet
  • Your voices should be off in the hallway, because 2nd and 3rd graders are having class.
  • Entering the Cafeteria
Always use walking feet
  • Talk to your friends using an “inside voice”
  • Do not yell in the Cafeteria
  • Cold Lunch - find a seat at your table
  • Hot Lunch - wait patiently in line
Waiting in Line
  • Talk to your friends using an “inside voice”
  • Keep your hands to yourself
  • Watch the person in front of you, to keep the line moving
  • Say “thank you” when you get your lunch
Sitting at your Table
  • Talk to your friends using an “inside voice”
  • Sit on your bottom at the table
  • Be in control of your body, we don’t want to spill anything
  • No sharing or trading food
End of Lunch
  • When the lights are off, your voices are off
  • Listen to and follow the adult’s instructions
  • Clean up your table spot, and pick up trash on the floor 
  • Listen for your table to be called
  • Walk to the trash can
  • Make sure all your trash makes it into the trash can
Helpers
  • Tray Helpers - at the end of lunch, make sure all of the trays are stacked neatly 
  • Tray Helpers, you will earn a PRIDE buck for being Responsible. 
 
Remember to be safe, responsible, respectful, and kind anytime you are in the Cafeteria.
