DSD will once again offer summer school to students entering kindergarten - 9th grades for the 2023-2024 school year. The program will work to strengthen academic skills, which will help students be successful as they transition to the next grade level/school. Please complete this application if you would like your student registered for DSD's 2024 Summer School Program.
Timelines:
* Registration Open: April 22 - May 3
* Parent Notification of Acceptance: May 6-10
* Summer School Dates: JUNE 3-27
Here’s what you need to know:
● The program is free for students.
● Students will receive free breakfast and lunch. Food service is at Douglas High School for all summer school students.
● There is limited space. DSD will accept up to 40 students per grade level.
● Students will be accepted into the program on a first-come first-served basis.
● Students must currently be enrolled in the Douglas School District.
● Transportation will be provided to students who live 2.5 miles or more away from the schools.
