Buildings and Grounds Home
Welcome to the Buildings and Grounds Department. Our mission is to ensure that all Douglas School District facilities are appropriately maintained and cleaned. The Buildings and Grounds Department employs approximately 27 staff, which consists of maintenance, custodian and warehouse personnel.
We are responsible for handling day-to-day operations including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, custodian and grounds keeping needs.
We also maintain compliance with building codes, fire codes, safety and environmental regulations. We oversee security and fire alarm systems in all buildings.
