Due to dangerously cold temperatures and expected windchill values in the range at which frostbite is likely to occur within 15 minutes, the Black Hills Conference Wrestling tournament at Hot Springs has been postponed. A makeup date will be announced in the future. Debate trip to Gillette and basketball games at Harrisburg (1/12) and Brandon Valley (1/13) have been also canceled. The updated basketball schedule is below:
The basketball schedule has been updated due to the postponement of games over the weekend:
-The Spearfish @ Douglas doubleheader, originally scheduled for Thursday, February 15th, has been moved UP to Thursday, January 18th, with a 3:30 pm start time for sub-varsity.
-The postponed doubleheader contests scheduled for January 12th and 13th will now be played on Friday, February 16th (at Harrisburg) and Saturday, February 17th (at Brandon Valley). Game times are to be determined.
Practice Updates:
Today's (1/12/24) practices and meetings can proceed as scheduled but may end early due to dropping temperatures.
Saturday, January 13: NO practices or meetings due to forecasted dangerously cold temperatures.
Monday, January 15: Practices and meetings may be held as temperatures are forecasted to rise into a safer range.
