Hallo, Guten Tag und Willkommen zum Deutschkurs! This is my welcome video for the 2021/22 school year. I am excited to welcome all my new and returning students and I looking forward to a great school year. Frau Kuegle

hello my morning would see Sarah jarosz on could talk to come to touch each other for coupla so I welcome you to Douglas High School German program and my name is you cannot find my contact information right here is my email and also my phone number my planning. free to from 8:52 to 9:51 and that's a good time if you want to call me sometime during the day or otherwise before and after school is a good time my classroom is 46 which is when you come through front door all the way down the hallway and I'm the last Splash on the left hand side I've been at Douglas for seven years and it's been teaching 16 years this year and I'm teaching German level 1 to 4 so you can take all the four levels of German if you start as a freshman year some expectations please don't think that you never make a mistake this is how we learn so be okay with that actively participate in class is very important and it's really important that you there everyday bring a good attitude and August materials everyday I have only Willie and I disrespect yourself respect others environment and be responsible for your actions and you should be not getting into any trouble other important information that is very important then I say this up front Google Translate is not allowed in class it's not your work and or any other translation sites that are out there so please don't use them when you turn in your material and I want to know what you know not what Google knows cell phones are expected to be put away in class and if you have any questions please come and get some help early I have a student teacher this year and I am we also have an exchange student from Germany this year that other upper-level students that chem tutor so get help early and don't tell it fall behind so we're here for you if you need anything everyday you need to you're these materials you know make sure your laptop is charged and bring your charger and headphones everyday any writing utensil but you know what pain is good and pencil you do need a dry erase marker reviews Sports individual whiteboards quite frequently a folder with pockets or a three-ring binder whatever your preference is for you to go and take your material and and handouts and a 3 subject notebook for German we're going on a student trips every other summer and we're planning on our next trip next summer in 2022 so that's something to look forward to Wells I have students who come in the fall every other year and hopefully that they can come next year and visit us and we'll get a student group so we have a sister sister city exchange and we are also Gap School German American partnership program school and you are able to participate in that will also have drama club and a lot of other really exciting things up with you outside of German class to extend the learning outside of the car so I'm looking forward to seeing you and say this part of you guys name
