SD DOH Immunization Clinics

Douglas School District to Host Immunization Clinic in Partnership with the South Dakota Department of Health

The Douglas School District, in partnership with the South Dakota Department of Health (SDDOH), will host a two-day Immunization Clinic on October 20–21, 2025. The clinic will be held on-site at the Douglas School District to provide families with a convenient way to ensure students are up-to-date on their required vaccinations.

The clinic is primarily intended for students in kindergarten through 6th grade, as these grade levels often require updated immunizations for school attendance. However, transfer students who need to update their records may also be accommodated.

Parents and guardians may register their child in advance. The deadline to register is October 12, 2025.

“This clinic is a great opportunity for families to take care of important health requirements without having to schedule an outside appointment,” said Jessica Gaudino, Douglas School District/Francis Case Nurse. “We’re grateful to the Department of Health for bringing this service directly to our district and making the process easier for our families.”

Parents must pre-register for an appointment (by October 12) and be present for the immunization.
