Returning Student Application
Infinite Campus update tonight, on Friday, March 20th, 2026. All sites, including PARENT PORTAL and STUDENT PORTAL, will be taken offline at approximately 10:00 pm and should be available again during the weekend.
ALL STUDENTS returning to Douglas for the 2026-2027 school year
must complete the Returning Student Application by June 1.
Ellsworth AFB Family/Student Connections:
Because Douglas is located near Ellsworth Air Force Base, the district receives Impact Aid Funding to help make-up for local property tax revenue that cannot be collected on federally owned land. Douglas School District receives approximately $5 million each year in Impact Aid, which is why residence and employment information must be coded accurately, as this directly affects the funding the district receives to provide academic services.
When completing the application, be sure the information for parents is correct:
Ellsworth-Connected students include those who have a parent, step-parent, or guardian who:
- Is active duty, whether living on or off base
- Resides on federal property (e.g., Antelope Ridge)
- Is employed in a base-connected position, including but not limited to:
- Contractors
- Construction workers
- Service providers
- Other individuals paid by the federal government, for work performed at Ellsworth Air Force Base, either directly through the base or through an employer.

Complete the Free and Reduced Meal Application after July 15 every school year:
- Access the form in the Parent Portal under "more" > "meal benefits" > "click here."
- A computer kiosk is available in the Food Service office for individuals who have difficulty accessing or completing the application.
