Dear DSD Families,
As we prepare for the 2021-2022 school year, we are eagerly anticipating ALL students returning to Douglas School District. At this time, Douglas School District plans to return to instruction as it was provided prior to COVID.
Our plan is for ALL families to return to face-to-face instruction beginning August 2021, including Black Hills Online Learning participants. The academic calendar will be approved in a March school board meeting with official dates.
The following steps need to be completed to ensure your student’s registration for the 21-22 school year.
Complete Annual Household Renewal through Parent Portal

Complete AHR when it opens, March 15 - 31
All school devices will be collected in May 2021
BHOLC families will need to return district technology devices & cords
Return will take place the first week of June. Specific details will be sent closer to the end of the school year.
Face-to-Face students will turn in devices during the last days of school.
