Douglas School District Celebrates Class of 2026 with Grad Walk and Graduation Ceremony

Box Elder, SD — The Douglas School District is proud to honor the Class of 2026 with two meaningful traditions: the annual Grad Walk and the official Graduation Ceremony.

GRADUATION WALK: May 13 at 8 AM
Graduating seniors will proudly wear their caps and gowns for the Grad Walk on Wednesday, May 13.  Beginning at 8:00 AM, they will walk through all Douglas School District school buildings, celebrating their accomplishments while inspiring younger students to continue their journey toward graduation. This cherished event highlights the connection between students of all ages and celebrates the bright futures ahead for the district’s graduates.

GRADUATION CEREMONY: May 17 at 2 PM
The Graduation Ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 17 at 2:00 PM at the Box Elder Events Center located at 631 Watiki Way. Family members, friends, and community supporters are invited to attend and celebrate this important milestone with the graduating class.

“These events are a powerful reminder of the impact our students, staff, and community have on one another,” said Beau Voegeli, Douglas High School Principal. “We are incredibly proud of our seniors and look forward to celebrating their achievements.”
