Meal Information: New for the 2026-2027 School Year

Douglas School District Food Services is excited to offer two lunch options for high school students each day! Students purchasing a reimbursable school lunch may choose from:

• Hot Lunch Line – Serving the daily menu posted on our website.
• Sandwich Line – Featuring two daily sandwich choices served on a bun, fries, and access to the fruit and vegetable bar.

Students are eligible for one breakfast and one lunch per school day. Any additional meals will be charged at the adult meal price of $5.50.

As we introduce the new sandwich line, availability will be first come, first served while we determine the number of sandwiches needed each day. We appreciate your patience as we launch this exciting new option.

A La Carte Policy

Beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, students whose meal accounts have a negative balance will not be permitted to purchase A La Carte items. This policy applies even if a student has cash at the time of purchase.

This change helps reduce negative meal account balances and ensures that funds deposited into student meal accounts are available for reimbursable meals.

Families are encouraged to monitor their student's meal account through the Parent Portal and add funds through the Food Service tab as needed.
