Basketball - Girls

Girls' basketball at Douglas Middle School provides student-athletes with the opportunity to develop basketball fundamentals, teamwork, and leadership in a positive and competitive environment. Players build confidence, resilience, and sportsmanship through practices, games, and teamwork. Coaches encourage dedication, respect, and continuous improvement both on and off the court. This opportunity is for 7th and 8th graders on all their respective teams. Girls basketball is offered during the 2nd Quarter. 

 

6th graders have the opportunity to join intramural teams, with a shorter season than 7/8th grade. They will have 3 festival nights throughout their season.

 

 

6th Grade Intramural: Co-coaches, Brook Clark & TBD
Practice time is typically 6:00- 7:30 AM in the Douglas High School Auxiliary Gym. The teams participate in 3 festival nights, which occur in late November and early December.
