Robotics
Robotics challenges Douglas Middle School students to design, build, and program robots while exploring engineering and technology. Students strengthen teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills through hands-on projects and competitions.
Students will compete in the Vex Robotics Competition or VRC to design and build a robot to complete a task more efficiently than their competitors. They will work collaboratively with different partners chosen at random at their events. Students will need to use their imaginations as well as their knowledge of science and technology to think outside the box and overcome new and exciting challenges. No experience in robotics or coding is needed; give it a shot!
Our DMS and DHS students are proud members of the Black Hills Robotics Foundation.
