Sideline Cheer

Middle School Sideline Cheer (also called Spirit Squad) is open to 7th and 8th-grade students who enjoy building school spirit, encouraging our teams, and performing at athletic events. Cheerleaders develop teamwork, leadership, and confidence while creating a fun and positive atmosphere for the entire school community. Sideline Cheer is offered during the 3rd Quarter. 

 

7th and 8th grade cheerleaders will support the home games for 7th and 8th grade (during boys basketball season). Our 6th grade cheerleaders will support the home team during festival nights (during boys basketball season).

Practice begins in late December and occurs after school at Douglas Middle School. The cheerleaders will support DMS during our 7th and 8th grade boys basketball season during their home games.

Practice begins in January and occurs after school at Douglas Middle School. The teams participate in 3 home festival nights, which occur in late January and early February.
