Student Transportation

Our school bus drivers play an important role in safely transporting students each day. They are the first and last faces students see, offering a friendly greeting and a steady presence. Their care and professionalism help ensure every child arrives safely and feels supported.

 

         
Douglas utilizes "Tyler Transportation," a student transportation management system that helps school districts organize and track bus routes, student ridership, and daily operations. It allows our staff to assign students to buses, plan efficient routes, and monitor changes in real time.

• Every student is required to scan an ID Badge on and off the bus.
• As a parent you will get a notifications through the MyRide app of bus arrival time, if the bus is delayed, when your student scans on the bus or off the bus at school or home. 
• As a parent, you will be able to see if we adjust bus stop times. 
• We are working on a feature in the MyRide app that will allow you to update your students ride status or bus stop.

• We allow each student to have one bus stop for AM route and One bus Stop for PM route.
• Friends are not allowed to ride with Friends.  Buses are reserved for every day registered riders as our buses run full.
