Freshman Information

Welcome to the page about your first year at Douglas High School.

We encourage all freshmen to read the Student Handbook on the right-hand side of the screen. We also recommend exploring the Activities tab as well. We at DHS believe that being involved in school opportunities increases students' positive experiences and opens doors to more connections and opportunities.

Middle school students will visit the High School on Thursday, January 30, 2025, to explore a variety of elective courses and extracurricular activities. This event aims to help them discover opportunities and prepare for a successful transition to high school.

High School Counselors and Administrators will visit Douglas Middle School to assist current 8th graders with registering for their 9th-grade classes. This event is part of the preparation for the 2025-2026 school year.
