Dear Douglas Families,

Welcome to Douglas High School! This is truly an exciting time to be a Patriot, and I am deeply honored to begin my fourth year serving as your principal.

What I love most about Douglas High School is our students. Every day, I am proud of their resilience, character, talents, and determination to succeed. Whether they are excelling in the classroom, competing in athletics and activities, serving others, or preparing for their future goals, our students continually demonstrate what it means to be a Patriot. 

Our school is also home to an exceptional staff dedicated to providing the skills, knowledge, and opportunities that empower students to achieve their goals. Together, we strive to create a positive learning environment where every student feels valued, challenged, and supported.

As true partners in your child's education, we recognize that strong communication between school and home forms the foundation of student success. Throughout the year, we will keep you informed about important updates, upcoming events, and your child's academic progress. We warmly encourage you to become an active participant in our school community and collaborate closely with teachers to support your child's educational journey. The Parent Portal serves as your gateway to real-time information about student grades, assignments, and assessments and can be accessed through the district website.

Our Patriots forge diverse and successful paths after graduation, whether pursuing military service, attending technical schools, enrolling in colleges and universities, or entering the workforce. We encourage all students to explore the many activities, athletics, clubs, and organizations available at Douglas High School. These experiences help students develop leadership skills, build relationships, and create lasting memories. I invite you to attend a Douglas High School activity or athletic event this year and experience firsthand the pride, talent, and dedication of our students.
